Hummus & Greek Village Salad

Layered textures, bold flavour and Mediterranean ease – this dish starts with creamy Mezé Hummus spread across a serving plate, topped with juicy cherry tomatoes, crunchy baby cucumbers and thinly-sliced Spanish onion. Finished with crumbled Mezé Feta and plump Calamata olives, it’s dressed in olive oil and red wine vinegar and served with toasted Mezé Pita for scooping. Bright, fresh and effortlessly shareable – everything good about Mezé.

    Ingredients

    • 220g Mezé Hummus
    • 2 cups halved Cherry Tomatoes 
    • 5 diced Baby Cucumbers 
    • ¼ Spanish Onion, thinly sliced 
    • 120g Mezé Feta – crumbled
    • 1/3 cup Mezé Calamata Olives – pitted 
    • Mezé Cocktail Pita Pockets
    • ¼ Mezé Olive Oil
    • 3 tbl Red Wine Vinegar
    • Dried Origanum
    • Salt and Pepper

    Directions

    In a small bowl, mix together the Mezé Olive Oil, vinegar, origanum, salt and pepper. Place the tomatoes, onions & cucumbers in a small bowl, pour the dressing over and gently mix the salad.

    Open the tub of Mezé Hummus, stir and then spread roughly onto a serving plate.

    Place the salad on top of the hummus, add your crumbled Mezé Feta & olives.

    Serve with toasted Mezé Pita Bread.
