Creamy Chicken Pesto

Experience a symphony of flavours with our Creamy Chicken Pesto. This delectable dish harmoniously unites the succulent tenderness of chicken with the vibrant notes of basil pesto and a creamy sauce. The result is a dish that captivates your palate with each forkful, making it a perfect choice for a satisfying and comforting meal.
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken strips
- 100g Butter
- 4 tbsp Mezé Basil Pesto
- 250ml Cream
- 125ml White Wine
- 1 punnet Button Mushrooms
- 500g Conchiglie Pasta
- Salt and Pepper
Directions

Melt half the butter in a pan. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and cook until golden brown.

While you are cooking chicken start to boil the pasta in salted boiling water.

Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Using the remaining butter add the mushrooms to the pan, cook till they are almost cooked through. Then add the wine and reduce for a few minutes.

Add the cream and allow to cook for a few minutes. Remove from the heat, and slowly stir in the pesto.

Mix the sauce with the pasta and the chicken. Serve with parmesan shavings
