Chilli Feta with Bruschetta

Savour the bold and zesty flavours of our Chili Feta with Bruschetta, an appetiser that combines the creaminess of feta cheese, the heat of red chilli peppers, and the crunch of toasted baguette slices. This tempting dish is a perfect marriage of textures and tastes that will awaken your palate with every bite.

    Ingredients

    • 1 French Roll
    • 100ml Olive Oil
    • 2 Garlic Cloves
    • Sprig of Rosemary
    • Bruschetta (as per above)
    • 250g Mezé Chilli Feta
    • 2-3 chopped fresh Tomatoes
    • 30g Micro Herbs
    • Salt and Pepper
    • Olive Oil for drizzling

    Preparing the spices

    Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

    Place the olive oil, sliced garlic and rosemary sprig into a small bowl.

    Slice the French bread into 1cm thick slices and place onto a baking tray. Using a basting brush, gently brush each slice of bread with the olive oil mixture.

    Cook for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool a little before serving.

    Apply a generous amount of Mezé Chilli Feta to each slice of bruschetta.

    Chop some fresh tomato, season with salt and pepper.

    Add about a teaspoon of tomato onto each slice of bruschetta and then drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle over with a few micro herbs.
