Hummus, Flat Bread, Greek Salad & Falafel
A Mediterranean feast made simple. Creamy Mezé Hummus spread over warm, toasted flatbread sets the base for a vibrant Greek salad of cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, olives and onion. Topped with golden falafel and a drizzle of tahina, it’s a fresh, flavour-packed meal that’s as satisfying as it is wholesome – perfect for easy lunches or relaxed entertaining.

    Ingredients

    • 220g Mezé Hummus
    • 2 cups halved Cherry Tomatoes 
    • 5 diced Baby Cucumbers 
    • ¼ Spanish Onion, thinly sliced 
    • 1/3 Cup Mezé Calamata Olives – pitted 
    • ¼ Mezé Olive Oil
    • 3 tbl Red Wine Vinegar
    • Dried Origanum
    • Salt and Pepper
    • Falafel balls
    • Mezé Tahina Sesame Sauce

    Preparing the spices

    In a small bowl, mix together the Mezé Olive Oil, vinegar, origanum, salt and pepper.

    Place the tomatoes, onions, calamata olives & cucumbers in a small bowl, pour the dressing over and gently mix the salad.

    Open the tub of Mezé Hummus, stir and then spread roughly onto the lightly toasted flat bread or pita bread. Place the salad on top of the hummus. Then add your falafel.

    Drizzle some Mezé Tahina Sesame Sauce over and season.
